Who We Are and What We Do
Orbitzecho is a boutique real estate agency operating in Eldoret, the principal commercial city of Kenya's North Rift region. We cover the full spectrum of residential and commercial property services: sales mandates, rental management, independent valuations, and strategic consulting for investors and developers. Our practice was established in 2017 by a team that had seen, firsthand, how a transaction-volume mindset leaves individual clients under-served — agents juggling too many files, corners cut on due diligence, title problems surfacing after money has changed hands. We built Orbitzecho on the opposite principle: we accept a limited number of active mandates at any time, so that every client receives a single, named agent who is fully across the detail of their matter. That agent attends every site visit, prepares or reviews every document, and is reachable by phone during business hours. Our portfolio spans Elgon View, Annex, Milimani, Huruma, Langas, and the Uganda Road commercial corridor — areas where we have completed over 180 transactions since our founding and where our pricing intelligence is based on actual closed deals, not asking-price estimates.
How We Work and What We Will Not Promise
Our process begins with a detailed briefing — either in our Uganda Road office or by phone — so that we fully understand your objective before we commit any time or yours. For sales and rental mandates, we sign a written instruction letter that sets out scope, fees, and expected timelines. For valuations, we provide a standard terms letter before the inspection. For consulting, the scope and deliverable are agreed in writing before work commences. We are a small team: as of 2024 we have four agents and two administrative staff. That scale is deliberate. It means we know every property in our portfolio personally, and it means when something changes in the market, every agent knows about it. What we do not do: we do not take on more mandates than we can handle well, we do not offer guaranteed sale timelines (property markets are influenced by factors outside any agent's control), and we do not provide legal advice — we recommend qualified conveyancing solicitors for all title and contract matters. If your requirement is for a high-volume auction service or a developer's mass-marketing campaign, we are probably not the right fit, and we will tell you so honestly at the first meeting.
